The Quality Armor From Marutake Armory - Antique Finish

This beautiful Yoroi is modeled after the battlefield armor worn by warlords from the 1500s to 1600s. It is brought back to life by our skilled artisans, who meticulously handshape each piece. The helmet is made of 32 handcrafted iron plates with gold rims. Each plate has a slightly different figuration to be finished as a perfectly shaped helmet. It features a Shikami "Monster" wooden headerboard, a beloved kabuto decoration among samurai warriors. This suit's body armor is handcrafted from multiple iron pieces, beautiful lacework, and elaborately crafted chainmail. The cuirass consists of two separate iron-steel body plates, a style known as Okegawa-Nimadido, a very traditional form of samurai armor from the 1300s.  It is made of defensive iron and decorated with leather with traditional patterns, brass fittings, tassels, and gold rims. This Yoroi armor includes all parts and accessories listed in the charts below and is ready to wear.

Custom Sizing
Our armors are designed to fit average Japanese adults up to 175cm (5 3/4') tall, with up to 41" (105 cm) chests. If you need a larger size, we can offer custom sizing to ensure a perfect fit. A small fee (up to 25% of the listed price) may be charged based on your measurements. It will take 1 to 2 additional weeks to complete a custom-sized suit of armor. If you need custom sizing, please contact us to request a price quote before purchasing. You need to fill in your key measurements, such as height, chest circumference, waist, and head circumference, to request a price quote for a custom order.

Custom Color Scheme:
We would be happy to offer you the option to change the color scheme of the lacquer finishes and/or braid lacings on your Yoroi. If we carry the color you want in our stock, the change is absolutely free.

Family Crest
A number of traditional Japanese family crests can be added to the storage box for free. You can choose your favorite samurai crest from our list.
