Very Old Antique Katana sword in Ornate Mounting

NBTHK Tokubetsu Hozon certificated (Extremely Well Preserved certificate)
Swordsmith: AOE
A quality Katana sword from SAMURAI STORE Tokyo. Antique Katana long blade made by the swordsmith school AOE in late Kamakura-Muromachi/Nambokucho era 1300's. Stunningly beautiful stray straight hamon tempered line pattern on blade. Very rare twin grooves (futasuji-hi) on the blade. This blade was certified to TOKUBETSU Hozon paper "Extremely Well-Preserved Sword" by NBTHK (Japan Sword Preservation Society), the higher ranked certificate than standard one. No inscription on the blade but the NBTHK is officially ascribing the blade to Aoe smith school's work. Comes in a complete antique ornate including beautiful Tsuba hand guard, hilt ornaments, and all decorative metal parts. Shirasaya wooden holder comes with.
